Temple Transport Team

Temple Transport Team (T3) provides critically ill patients with Temple Health’s world-class, academic medical center resources with one call, whenever and wherever you may need it.

T3’s rapid, reliable transportation services include our Ground Critical Care Transport division and our Temple MedFlight* air medical program, which use state-of-the-art equipment to deliver the highest-quality care. Our experienced teams – comprising some of the region’s top paramedics and nurses who have all received intensive education and training – have cared for more than 70,000 patients since T3’s inception in 2002.

When you call Temple Transport Team, our mission support staff and clinical teams spring into action. Choreographed plans are set into motion so that the right resources in the right vehicle arrive at your location at the right time with the right equipment.

Through the Temple OnCall program, T3 provides prompt access to nationally recognized physicians in every specialty and primary care field, including the exceptional faculty from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, who are supported by the advanced resources of such teaching institutions as Temple University Hospital – Main Campus and Temple University Hospital – Jeanes Campus.

What We Do

Temple Transport Team is prepared to address the medical needs of your most critically ill patients in the out-of-hospital environment. In addition to typical transfers from your emergency department, operating room or cardiac catheterization lab, our transport team stands ready to manage patients with:

  • Specialty modes of ventilation

  • All invasive lines

  • All medication infusions

  • Ongoing thrombolysis

  • Intra-aortic balloon pump

  • Ventricular assist device

  • Open complex surgical wounds

  • All intracranial monitoring devices

  • Complex thermal and chemical wounds

  • High-risk obstetrical cases and monitoring

  • All pediatric specialty transports
