Mission

Our mission is to provide safe, comprehensive, high quality, patient specific, pharmaceutical care in an environment of professionalism, respect, and integrity.

Statement of Purpose

The PGY2 Infectious Diseases pharmacy residency program builds upon Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) education and PGY1 pharmacy residency training to develop pharmacist practitioners with knowledge, skills, and abilities as defined in the educational competency areas, goals, and objectives for advanced practice areas. Residents who successfully complete PGY2 Infectious Diseases pharmacy residency programs are prepared for advanced patient care or other specialized positions, and board certification in infectious diseases.

Why Complete PGY2 ID Training at Temple?

The PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency Program at Temple University Hospital prepares pharmacists by building a strong foundation of clinical skills and knowledge in both the inpatient and ambulatory practice settings. Pharmacists completing this residency program will gain experience and confidence in providing proficient, evidence-based, and compassionate care to patients.
